Pacific Koel

Koels might be pretty birds but they’re also brood parasites, which is substantially less nice.

Did you expect a needle?
Morrowind is a game where you can consume vast quantities of sujamma. No further explanation is warranted or necessary.
Somehow I included Red Mountain but neglected the Ghostfence. I have no comment.
Last year was nice and all, but by the end of it I thought, this is nothing like what I ‘usually’ (implies free time) do; if part of the goal is to practise then next time I should do something more in line with my typical approach. So, more about shapes and shading than lines and stark contrast.
Hence were born the RULES:
one hour
one layer
one colour
one scale
one attempt
Basically a bunch of things to focus on streamlining the drawing process and not get hung up on diversions. It’s not really ‘ink’ besides the lack …
Coloured and shaded remaster of Inktober 2022 #17, ‘Salty’. In part because I like Rhamphorhynchus. The existence of a fish might be more obvious in this rendition, but I must confess to performing zero palaeontological research into appropriate ichthyans.
Strictly speaking a pelagic pterosaur like Rhamphorhynchus would probably not get so drenched in its natual habitat, in a manner resembling that by which a duck doesn’t, but whatever as it’s much too late for that now. You should have complained during or shortly before the evening of 17 October 2022.
Part of a trans-hemispherical non-postal-postcard to acknowledge the December solstice. Because it was summer here and not there, you see.
Coloured and shaded remaster of Inktober 2022 #24, ‘Fairy’. Biding its time until it can find a mesh fence to flit through.
Inktober is a thing where anyone interested attempts to make an ink drawing every day of October, or at least a once a week, or anything else in line with the main goal of making good habits. I’m more of the pixeling persuasion, so this year I did indeed produce an assortment of monochromatic pixels for all 31 days, using the Official set of prompts. Observe, should you desire.

Some small paintings, about 80 mm each side. Cute pieces of canvas conducive to painting something relatively quick and simple.
Also, silhouettes are cheating.
Bears zero relation to a blackout that occured in the midst of a period of torrential rain at the time.
